A new victory for Savannah De Bock

Savannah De Bock starts her college season in the best possible way by winning the Leadership & Golf Invitational, played on September 14 and 15 at Chambers Bay in Washington State.
In her first tournament of the season with Eastern Michigan University, Savannah claimed top spot in the individual standings with a 54-hole score of 209 (-7). After opening rounds of 71 and 70, she closed out the tournament with a remarkable round of 68 (-4) to surge from tied 5th place to victory, finishing one shot clear of her nearest competitor.
This success marks Savannah's second individual college title, following her win at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic (Sept 2024).
She currently holds the university's main scoring records: ● lowest 18-hole score: 65 ● lowest 54-hole score: 204 ● lowest 72-hole score: 285 ● best career scoring average: 72.87
With her 209 (-7) at Chambers Bay, Savannah also posts the 4th lowest 54-hole score in program history. She now owns three of the top seven 54-hole scores ever recorded by an Eastern Michigan player.
This individual victory also contributed to the team's overall success, as the Eagles won the team title, once again achieving the double with both individual and team victories.
A successful first step for Savannah in this new college season, already featuring another title and performances that continue to leave their mark on the Eastern Michigan program.
