Savannah De Bock Named "MAC Golfer of the Week"

Savannah De Bock has just been named "MAC Golfer of the Week" by the Mid-American Conference (MAC), following her victory at the Leadership & Golf Invitational, played on September 14 and 15, 2026, at Chambers Bay near Seattle.

In her first tournament of the season, Savannah claimed top spot by winning the individual title with a score of 7-under par (209 strokes), thanks to rounds of 71, 70, and 68.

This victory marks the second individual college title of her career, following her win at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic in 2024. It also allows Eastern Michigan to complete the double for the second consecutive year, securing both the team and individual titles.

This new honor is the third of Savannah's career as MAC Golfer of the Week, following her two awards during the 2024-2025 season.

With this victory and new accolade, Savannah kicks off her 2026-2027 college season in the best possible way.

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that is recorded by a website server in the browser of your computer or mobile device when you visit the website. The cookie contains a unique code that allows your browser to be recognized during your visit to the website (called a "session cookie") or during future repeated visits (called a "permanent cookie"). A website server can only read the cookies that it has placed itself; it has no access to any other information on your computer or mobile device. Cookies are stored on your computer or mobile device, in your browser's directory. The content of a cookie generally consists of the name of the server that placed the cookie, an expiration date, and a unique encrypted code.

Cookies generally ensure an easier and faster interaction between the visitor and the website. They help the visitor navigate between the different parts of the website. Cookies can also be used to make the content of a website more relevant. The same applies to advertising on a site. This also allows them to be adapted to the visitor's preferences and needs.
