Seventeen (17) countries have confirmed their participation in the 2022 World Junior Girls Golf Championship.

Teams were invited based on their finishes at the 2019 World Junior Girls Championship and at the 2018 World Amateur Team Championship, and/or the average ranking of their top three (3) junior-aged players on the Women’s World Amateur Golf Rankings (WWAGR). In addition, Canada will enter two teams bringing the total participating teams to 18.

Angus Glen Golf Club

Angus Glen Golf Club consists of two 18-hole championship golf courses in Markham, Ontario. The North and South courses offer variety, beauty and challenge. Arthur Stollery, an avid golfer, began building the golf course in 1992 in the valley where Black Angus cattle once grazed. Parts of the original farm, which still operates, can be seen adjacent to many of the golf holes. The Stollery family opened the course to the public in 1995 and was ranked as the Best New Course in Canada by Golf Digest Magazine. Angus Glen is known for its outstanding personal service and provides golfers with the experience of a first-class private golf club within a public facility, accessible to all. In addition, the club includes a Nike Pro Shop and the Silo Grill Restaurant.

Angus Glen Golf Club has been ranked as one of the top 80 golf courses in the world outside of the United States. It was home to the 2002 and 2007 Canadian Open and an official host of the 2015 Toronto Pan/Parapan American Games.

The 2022 World Junior Girls Championship will be contested on the South Course.
